Lofi Sound Design Experiments on the PO33

Today’s video is a quick jam on the pocket operator using just sounds recorded through the internal microphone.  All drums are random sounds like tapping my desk and jingling my keys.  The built in mic is VERY lofi, and adding in the low resolution of the PO, the end result is some satisfyingly crunchy lofi house.

For a $100 piece of gear, the workflow is incredibly intuitive and the fx/functionality is incredible.  As I dive further into samplers, I’ve found the limitations of each piece of gear can either be a hindrance or a creative boon depending on how you look at it.
